 - 200 g flour, sifted
 - 2 t baking powder
 - 150 g caster sugar
 - 125 g butter, softened
 - 2 t strong coffee
 - 1 t vanilla extract
 - 2 free-range eggs
 - ½ cup milk For the icing
 - 400 g caster sugar
 - 125 g butter, softened
 - 1 t strong coffee
 - ½ t marsala, for drizzling
 - nougat pieces, to garnish
 
Method
Ingredients
								To make the cupcakes: Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Line a couple of 12-muffi n pans with baking cups. Combine all the ingredients and mix for 3 minutes until well blended. Spoon into the baking cups and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden.
Allow to cool on a wire rack.
To make the icing and decorate: Thoroughly mix the sugar, butter and coff ee, and pipe the mixture onto each cupcake. Drizzle with Marsala and top with the nougat pieces.
