Blend the juice of oranges with piece of fresh, peeled ginger. Half fill four glasses with the juice and top up with sparkling wine or champagne to serve.
Cook's note: for a non-alcoholic drink, replace the sparkling wine or champers with a sugar-syrup or honey and soda/sparkling water mix.
To make, combine 1 litre of water with 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of Woolies' orange blossom honey and stir over a high heat until the sugar dissolves. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 30 minutes.
Take the pot off the stove and let the syrup cool for 30 minutes Strain through a fine-mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.
Add the sugar syrup to the orange juice and ginger, strain and pour into glasses. Top with sparkling or soda water.
