Ingredients

Method
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into thick chips
  • oil, for frying
  • 150 g Woolworths masala fresh paste
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 15 g fresh coriander, roughly chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 4 Woolworths ultimate hot dog rolls, sliced lengthways
  • 80 g grated Emmenthal and mature Cheddar

Method

Ingredients

1. Heat the oil in a saucepan.
2. Add kitchen chip; if it starts to bubble, the oil is ready. Fry the chips for 5–7 minutes, then drain on absorbent paper and allow to cool. Repeat the process twice until the chips are golden (or air-fry).
3. Sauté the masala paste in a large pan with the olive oil to loosen. Fry gently until fragrant. Toss the chips through the masala sauce and top with chopped coriander and a squeeze of lime.

Optional: fill the hot dog rolls with the masala chips, top with grated cheese and grill in the oven until the cheese has melted.
