Home-made baked beans

Ingredients
Method
- 800 g can whole peeled tomatoes
- 2 x 70 g cans Woolworths soffritto tomato paste
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T red wine vinegar
- 1 T Muscovado sugar
- 4 Woolworths sundried tomato quarters
- 1 T fish sauce
- 2 T olive oil
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 x 400 g cans butter beans, drained
- 150 g Woolworths Gorgonzola
- Woolworths onion sprinkle, for serving
Method
Ingredients
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Combine the tomatoes, soffritto paste, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, sundried tomatoes, fish sauce, olive oil and seasoning, and blend until smooth.
2 Toss the beans through the sauce, then pour into a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes. Top with the Gorgonzola, then bake for a further 15 minutes, or until golden and melted. To serve, top with the onion sprinkle and season with black pepper.
Cook's note: Serve with Woolies’ pork-and-herb bangers, your favourite frikkadels garnished with fresh parsley, or plant-based Beyond Meatballs.
