- 500 g plain flour
- 2 T baking powder
- 1 t salt
- 60 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 315 ml Guinness beer
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Add the sugar.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the Guinness.
Add to the dry ingredients, along with the grated Cheddar cheese.
Mix together and our into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes.
TASTE's take
A really easy bread to make because it doesn't have to prove. The taste is wonderfully malty and the bread stays fresh for days.
