Flummery pudding



You need just three ingredients to make flummery pudding – a kind of milky jelly made with jelly powder, boiling water and evaporated milk. Turn it into a grand-looking dessert with some whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

- 2 x 80 g boxes Woolworths strawberry-flavoured jelly
- 1 ¾ cups boiling water
- 1 ¾ cups evaporated milk
- 1 cup whipping cream, chilled
- 2 T white sugar
- fresh strawberries, to garnish
Method
Ingredients
1. Place the jelly powder in a large bowl, pour in the boiling water and mix until completely dissolved. Pour in the evaporated milk and mix.
2. Pour into a serving dish and chill to set, about 4 hours.
3. Place the cream and sugar in a bowl and beat until firm peaks form. Chill until required.
4. Once the pudding has set, decorate with strawberries and decorate with whipped cream.
Cook’s note: Finely grate over some freeze-dried strawberries before serving.
