Ingredients

Method
  • 225 g cake flour
  • 325 g caster sugar
  • 115 g cocoa powder
  • 2 t bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 free-range eggs
  • 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
  • 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1⁄2 cup water
  • 2 t vanilla extract
  • 100 g Woolworths 70% dark chocolate drops, melted
  • 100 g Woolworths milk chocolate drops, melted
  • 100 g Woolworths white chocolate drops, melted

Method

Ingredients

1. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Grease and line a 23 cm springform baking tin with baking paper.

2. Sift all the dry ingredients into the bowl of a stand mixer. Whisk together all the wet ingredients and slowly add to the dry mixture while beating at a low speed until smooth.

3. Pour the batter into the cake tin and bake for 35 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Cool in the tin, then remove. Just before serving, drizzle with the melted chocolate.
