Beat the heat this summer with these refreshingly delicious lollies made using Woolworths Apple & Cherry 100% Fruit Juice Blend. Choose between a classic frozen juice lolly, or elevate your lolly by adding jelly cubes and cherries for a fun twist.

Made using Woolworths’ apple-and-cherry 100% fruit juice blend, this is the perfect summer treat. Fruity and delicious – this is a guaranteed favourite for the whole family!  Search “Apple & cherry lollies” on taste.co.za or find the recipe below.    🍽️ Makes 6  🥣 15 minutes, plus overnight freezing time    📌 Ingredients  For juice lollies:  2 cup Woolworths apple-and-cherry 100% fruit juice blend    For jelly lollies:  10 g sachet gelatine powder  2 cups Woolworths apple-and-cherry 100% fruit juice blend  1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stalks removed    📌 Method  For simple juice pops:  1. Divide the juice between six popsicle moulds.   2. Freeze the popsicles overnight.    For jelly pops:  1. Place the gelatine in a small bowl and top with 60 ml fruit juice. Stir to combine.  2. Place the remaining juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil.  3. Remove from the heat and add the bloomed gelatine. Stir to dissolve.  4. Place the jelly mixture in the fridge and allow to set for roughly 2 hours or overnight. Cut the set jelly into cubes.  5. Layer the jelly cubes and cherries into the popsicle moulds, top with the juice, and freeze overnight.♬ Happy Summer - Vin Music

    For simple juice lollies:

  • 2 cup Woolworths Apple & Cherry 100% Fruit Juice Blend
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stalks removed
  • For the jelly lollies:

  • 2 cups Woolworths Apple & Cherry 100% Fruit Juice Blend
  • 10 g sachet gelatine powder
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and stalks removed

Method

Ingredients

For simple juice pops:

1. Divide the juice between six popsicle moulds.

2. Freeze the popsicles overnight.

For jelly pops:

1. Make the jelly by adding the gelatine to a small bowl and topping with 60 ml Woolworths Apple & Cherry 100% Fruit Juice Blend.

2. Add the remaining juice to a pan and bring to a boil.

3. Remove from the heat and add the bloomed gelatine. Stir to dissolve.

4. Place jelly mixture in the fridge and leave to set for roughly 2 hours or overnight. Cut the set jelly into cubes.

5. Layer the jelly cubes and cherries into the popsicle moulds, top with juice, and freeze overnight.

Cook’s note: Run the frozen moulds under warm water to release the lollies when you’re ready to serve them. You can swap the gelatine for PlantLove™ Gelling Powder.
