Ahweh (Lebanese Coffee)



Ahweh also known as Lebanese Coffee, is made using a specific brewing technique. Teddy Zaki, Great SA Bake-Off alumnus, shared the method for making the perfect cup of ahweh.

- 1 espresso cup water
- 1 t Lebanese coffee
- 1 t sugar

Ingredients
For each cup of coffee, place 1 espresso cup water into a Lebanese coffee pot. Heat the water, then add 1 t Lebanese coffee plus 1 t sugar for each cup. Bring to a boil. Skim off some of the foam and place a little into each espresso cup. Return the pot to the heat and boil again. Pour into cups and serve immediately.
