Ingredients

4 big scoops Woolworths Extremely Creamy Madagascan vanilla ice cream
4 cups Italian filterground coffee, freshly brewed
Biscotti or amaretti biscuits, for serving

Method

Place a scoop of ice cream into 4 cups and pour over the hot coffee.
Drizzle with a tot of almond liqueur if you like. Serve with the biscuits.

Cook’s note: If you have time, place the cups containing the ice cream in the freezer for 30 minutes before pouring over the coffee. The biscuits can also be crumbled over.

FUN FACT: “Affogato” means “drowned” in Italian. This recipe is the classic version but if you want to experiment, use coffee, chocolate or stracciatella ice cream.
