Ingredients

150 g Woolworths tenderised beef steak
1 T olive oil
1 T butter
1⁄4 loaf white bread
3 T Woolworths jalapeño atchar
100 g slap chips
1 slice Cheddar cheese
1 free-range egg, fried

For the sauce, mix:

1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
1 t tomato sauce
1 t mustard
1⁄2 t garlic, minced
a pinch paprika
1 gherkin, finely chopped

Method

1. Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan and fry the steak for 5 minutes on each side.

2. Toast the bread, then hollow it out. Layer in the atchar, steak, chips, cheese and egg, then top with the sauce.
