Ingredients: For the meatballs, mix: ,free-range lamb mince 500g,large onion, peeled and grated 1 (about 200 g),garlic, peeled and grated 2cloves,breadcrumbs 30g,smoked paprika 1t,chilli flakes 1⁄2t,harissa paste 1t,salt 1⁄2t,white pepper a pinch,ground cinnamon a pinch,For the sauce: ,olive oil 2T,garlic, peeled and chopped 3-4cloves,salt 1⁄2t,tomato purée 5T,harissa paste 1T,smoked paprika 1t,cinnamon stick 1⁄2,bay leaves 2,brown sugar 1T,lemon peel 2strips,lemon juice 6T,water 3cups,large pears, unpeeled 2,white rice or couscous, for serving

Ingredients

3 free-range eggs
¾ cup milk
90 g flour
1 t vanilla extract
¼ t salt
½ t ground cinnamon
4 T butter
1 T brown sugar
2 Woolworths Ripe & Ready juicy pears, peeled, cored and sliced into 8 wedges
crème fraîche, for serving

Method

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Whisk the eggs, milk, flour, vanilla, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.

Melt the butter and sugar in a 23 cm ovenproof frying pan over a medium to high heat. Add the pears and fry until soft and golden brown.

Pour the pancake batter into the hot pan and place into the oven. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the pancake is puffed and golden brown. Serve with crème fraîche.
