Try adding a bit of smoked paprika to the patties. If your have them often and are happy to experiment try liquid smoke. Woolworths online sells Lazy Kettle Hickory Liquid Smoke. Just add a bit to the patties.

The more fat, the juicier the patty! I also add Worcestershire sauce to the mince for extra flavour.
